Leo Beo needs his lungs to grow stronger... Being on a neb in September worried Dr. Van Beek (well, duh...). So she decided to create a baseline for Leo's lungs. He now takes 2 puffs of Flomax 2 times a day. The first days were a nightmare. He screamed, cried, and pretty much had a tantrum every time we came near him. To top it off, you have to wash his mouth out and wipe it with a washcloth to make sure he doesn't get thrush from the steroid. (On a side note...will he get 'roid rage, and all the other stuff that come with steroids?)
Well, after a week, I finally thought about something new. He loves to drink out of glass glasses (Obviously he gets this from his father, since glass glasses still make me gag...strange side effect of pregnancy.), so why not let him have a drink.
He loved the idea, and takes it like a champ!
He loves it so much that he carries it around and spits in it when we are finished. :) What a ham!
