Halloween 2010

For the longest time I couldn't decide what I wanted the boys to go as. I wanted them to be something together, but what. I posted on Facebook and someone said "Buzz and Woody."

Perfect! Leo was super excited. I was kind of surprised because he wanted to be Buzz and wanted Eli to be Woody.

I found the costumes on the internet and saw a Jessie. Leo was convinced I was going to be her. Sorry, kiddo!

Eli had double ear infection and was less than thrilled with his costume or anything to do with it.

But Leo loved it! He loved getting the candy (note to self: he didn't eat ONE piece!). And he loved saying what Buzz always says:

Look Who's Crawling...

Eli started crawling today. Silly boy.

Woke up from his nap and decided today was the day! Now he is into everything.

Poor Leo...His world was rocked again. Now all of his toys are fair game! ;) I bet this is the first of many times the boys disagree on things.

Pumpkin Carving 2010

Tonight we did our annual pumpkin carving. Melia kept saying she was not into it because she'd helped carve over 105 pumpkins at a school thing. I just don't understand how you can't be into carving!?! ;)

We invited Jason & Kayla to come. They'd never had the joy of carving with us. They may never do it again!

My mom made a spider. Kayla made their last initial and carved LEO into one for Leo. Jason made the Kentucky letters. Melia made a pirate ship. Justin and I made a Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Eli's first pumpkin.

Every year I look forward to this night. It's one of my favorites. Kayla even got Leo to stick his hand into the pumpkin "guts."

Eli, however, was fighting double ear infection. He was NOT a fun little boy. Oh well, maybe next year he'll be into it!

Enjoy our pumpkins!

Eli {10 Months}

What are you up to in this 10th month?

~You are so close to crawling! We had to put the gate up incase you decide to take off.

~You love eating anything!

~You weigh 19 lbs. 13.5 oz. and are almost 30 inches tall.

~You can play so big and will give kisses (but only to Mommy!).

~You love to go to daycare, but aren't a big fan of the ride there.

~You are still wearing size 3 diapers and 12 month clothes.

~You wake up a few times in the night. We aren't really sure why.

~You love your baby food, but we have to trick you to eat the fruit.

~You love to watch and play with your brother.

~You like to bite your mom...

~You won't sit still for anything!

~You are so smart and we love you so much!

Eli, you are growing up so fast!

Star of the Week

Leo is the Star of the Week at Wee School this week. He was so excited to take his pictures to school. When I asked who he wanted to take pictures of, he rattled off about ten names! Silly boy!

We had to make treats for his class. On Tuesday, I made purple and gold layered cupcakes, that we decorated to be lions. (Lion and Leo both start with L, incase you didn't catch that...) I have a lot of pictures on my phone, but none on my camera. Ugh!

For today my friend, Kayla, and I made Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees. I think they turned out pretty darn cute. My only complaint...the cereal Alphabets does not make all of the letters! I was going to write the kid's names, but they only had about 5 different letters. Make me crazy!

I'm glad Leo is loving Wee School! I knew he would!

Boo-ed!

Mr. Leo was "Boo-ed" last night. He was so excited to open all the goodies in his bag. He loves the flashlight so much, he carries it everywhere!

The next day we went and "Boo-ed" two of his friends. He thought it was so cool to ring the doorbells and run away. (On a side note...I hope he doesn't think "Knock, Knock, Zoom, Zoom" is a good game...)

We still don't know who "Boo-ed" Leo, so if you read this blog Mystery Boo-er, thanks so much!

New Cousins?

Leo has fallen in love with some new friends of ours. Jason is the new 3rd grade teacher at CL and Kayla is a nurse para in my room and works at the hospital. He loves when they come over (I'm thinking it's all the attention and no scolding...)

Anyway, he wanted to have them on his Star of the Week board, so they made a special trip over to take a picture with them. He told his class that they were his cousins.

I guess welcome to the family guys!
