Swimming Pool Fun

Leo and I went to the pool the other day with our friends. Brenda works at the school with me, and Tate is in Leo's Wee School class. Leo always says Tate is his new best bud. :)



We went on a day when it was snowing outside, thinking the boys would love it! Well, we were half way right. Tate was all about the pool. Leo was all about the hoop that was in the deeper part of the pool. Tate is a good swimmer. Leo loves to jump in but that's about it. So after making a few hoops, a thousand trips to the bathroom, and back to the kid part, Leo was just too cold to swim any longer. The boy needs to get some meat on his bones so he isn't so cold! Thanks so much for the fun afternoon, Brenda & Tate!

My Hero...

Leo may be a stalker. Big time. He plays basketball from the moment he wakes up until the moment I put him to bed. And when he plays he is "Hunter" (well, when he makes it, he is Hunter. When he misses he's someone else...). He gives the play by play as he shoots. Makes me be the band at half time. I'm required to play (read: sing) a song from Star Wars. He does cheers, shouts out the score and always says, "Way to go, Hunter!" He watches Hunter's house to see if his car is home.

Leo is the star of the week this week, and Hunter is going to read to his class. So thanks, Hunter, for putting up with your number 1 fan!

Leo & His Buddies

We were invited to a Super Bowl Party at a friends house. The party was at one of Leo's Wee School friend's house. They were having a blast playing.

Quintin, Tanner, Leo, Tate, Liam, Alexis and Brenden are only some of the kids that were at the party. It was crazy fun!

Eli {14 Months}

I know, I missed 13 months. :) But that's ok. He'll forgive me.

What has Eli been up to the past 2 months?

~You love getting into EVERYTHING!

~You started walking on Valentine's Day.

~You've been super sick for the past month (or longer). You wouldn't sleep longer than 45 minutes at a time. :( You've been on meds since the 1st of February. Now you are on nebs and steroids. (you like to try to out do your brother!)

~You've really become a chatter box. You can say "Mommy, Daddy, Hi, Bye, Kick, Cup, No, Leo, Grandpa, Grandma, Uh-Oh, Yucky, Puppy, Ball, Alissa, Kayla, Sabrina and other names (if you has him)."

~Your favorite word is "Uh-oh" which usually means you've dropped something. Which is your favorite game.

~You are in mostly 12-18 month clothes, size 3 diapers, weight 21 lbs. 14 oz at your last doctor visit.

~You are down to one nap a day, and usually are ready for bed at 7:30.

~You still LOVE your paci.

~You are very loving to your brother. When Leo cries or gets into trouble you go by him and rub his back or leg.

~You stayed in a hotel for the first time, and did pretty well.

~You need just 1 more tooth and you have all of them! You like to bite me and your daddy (silly boy!).

Snow Day Fun Take 2?

Another snow day activity that I loved when I was little...making a tent with blankets and a table. This activity was much more up my boys alley. :)

Leo was totally into it. He wanted to sleep there and has asked to make one every day since!

We were camping in the winter and had a campfire in our tent. We sat on the couch and went on "Grandpa" Dave's boat. Then we drilled a hole in the ice to go ice fishing. Not really sure how we could use the boat and go ice fishing, but hey, not my imagination. :)

Snow Day Fun?!

I had a brilliant idea to bring snow into the house so the boys could play with it. The boys did not however enjoy it as much as I thought they would.

Eli cried the second he touched it.




Leo would only touch it with the tools i brought in for him to play with, and then only for 5minutes.




What I thought would take up a half hour, lasted 5 minutes...
