Bridal Shower
The wedding bells will soon be ringing. The bride is busy getting the final details ready.
In honor of the beautiful bride, a shower was planned.
We threw a shower for Miss Sabrina today. Many friends and family were able to come and shower her with gifts and well wishes.
Love these two <3
Three beautiful women
We asked people to give Sabrina their best marriage advice. If you want to join in the fun, leave a comment, and I'll make sure she gets your pearls of wisdom.

Visiting Aunt Mindy
This passed weekend Justin's family headed up north to Aunt Mindy's. Well, technically, we went a little north of her house, but we stopped there on the way.
We surprised Mindy by showing up and heading to a nearby hotel with a water park. The water was a little to chilly for me. However, the kids thought it was warm enough to turn into frozen pops for. :)
Leo lovin' the big slide.
Eli and Jus's turn

AHHH! Remedy Drive!
Sabrina and I had a MUCH needed girls night together. I had the day off because of parent teacher conferences. We met between her big city and my small city to watch Remedy Drive. They are a Christian group we fell in love with at Rocky Mountain High in 2008.
The concert was awesome! We recorded them singing Leo's favorite song, "Daylight" for him. He was pretty jealous he didn't get to go with us! We both fell in love with a new song. Here are a few of the lyrics:
"Son, I don't have all the answers,
and I don't want to let you down.
All I know is that I'm running
towards this Hope that I can't see,
And, Son, I hope you'll follow me. -
Keep on running, child.
Keep on running.
Keep on running til the race is done.
Keep on running, child.
Keep on running
Keep on running til the race is done."
Sabrina and I thought that this song reminded us a lot of my boys. I know I don't have all the answers, but I know who I am following and that is enough. I pray that my boys can follow the same Hope. Everytime I hear the song I am brought to tears.
Thanks for the special evening, Sabrina. I love you. <3

Wedding Outfits: Take 1
While trying to prepare for Sabrina & Nate's big day (WOO HOO!), I bought what I thought were going to be the boys' outfits for the wedding. They were spring-y and bright and NOT pink. That was dad's order request.
Ivy and I went to SF together back in February to get somethings for her choir concert. We thought they were perfect. Well, they are super cute, and they are from the Gap. But they just aren't the outfits. You'll have to wait until after May 26th to see what outfits did make the cut!
Sweet boys

An "Amazing" Birthday
For Justin's 30th birthday, I decided to give him an Amazing Race Surprise Birthday. He loves is ok with suprises. Back in January I talked Sabrina and Cheryl into helping me plan it. (Thanks, by the way, ladies!) The surprise was almost ruined because of Sunshine Foods. I called and asked them to make cupcakes for me. I only gave them my cell number, but somehow, they got my home number and left a message! Justin was acting a little smug the day he heard it. He thought he had figured something out! Ha! Joke was on him!
We invited a bunch of our friends to come and play as well as to help at the stations.
The first task they had to complete was to guess what time of day Justin was born. Justin played with Nate and they were the last team to start!
They then had to go to DGR and take a picture of their team infront of the DGR sign. Technology was not on my side that night. :( Things were not working in my favor.
After their text, they had to go and pump gas for 3 vehicles in town. Well... town was a little dead that night. They ended up washing windows and counting that instead!
The next clue lead them to Scott & Amy's house to try to put the pictures of Justin in order from his childhood. This proved to be quite tricky for a lot of the teams! Ivy was very excited to help!
Again, Nate and Justin had a hard time with this one!
Next center was when it went a little crazy! They were supposed to go to the school and shoot baskets. They had to make 17 in one minute. I didn't have enough timers or helpers and this station. Oops...
The next 3 stations included a stop at Mike and Erica's to solve a puzzle, heading to Pizza Ranch to get 4 people to sign a birthday card for Justin, and lastly, to get 5 people to text his phone "Happy Birthday". Again, technology did not help me out on that one...
Their final clue lead them back to our house to complete their final task. They had to get Oreos from their forehead to their mouth without using their hands. It was so funny to watch! I think Mere was ready to beat Joe over their finish...
Krista wasn't too happy with me either.
Funny thing is... Guess who won... Yep... Nate & Justin.
It was such a fun night! Thanks for helping us celebrate! Happy 30th, Jus!
