Look Who's Talking

Well, he isn't walking yet, but boy can he talk. :) I have no idea where he gets that from...

What a Cut!

My baby got his hair cut (for the 3rd time) this morning. Here are some pictures of the shaggy head of hair before the cut.
When we got to Tangles by Becky, I was NOT expecting what I got! Leo sat in the chair all nice, but once the cape came out, so did the tears. And the screams. He cried, and screamed the entire time she was cutting his hair. I felt so bad for him, and for her! Thank goodness she has a little guy who is four months younger than Leo, so she was super calm. I was more worried she'd snip an ear off while he was moving around like crazy! But, she's a professional. :) So, when she finished the cut, she put some "man" gel in his hair. It kind of smelled like men's aftershave, very strange stuff! And we were done. I went in with a baby and came out with a big boy. I had a few tears in my eyes as we drove home! But, isn't he a handsome little guy!

A few after shots! :)

Leo's So Cool...

He loves his new shades! He wore them to the fair last night, and left them on...Until Kayla tapped on the lens, and he remembered they were on! He thinks he's pretty cool stuff in his shades. Who knew $2.75 would bring such happiness?

Happy 1st Birthday Little Miss Adri!

On Saturday we went to Redwood to see Little Miss Adri and to help celebrate her first birthday. The trip to her party was a little less eventful than the trip to Kansas for Katelynn's party. I am totally ok with that! :) Here are a few pictures of the sweetie.

Happy Birthday, Grandpa Randy!

Leo learned a new trick today in honor of my dad's birthday. He's so smart!

1 Year Statistics

Leo is blowing a kiss to the camera on his birthday. What a ham!

Not quite sure he wants to lay still for his mommy to take his picture.

All stretched out so I could get the shot! Thanks Leo Beo!

My Leo went to get his next round of shots today. He got the Chicken Pox vaccine and another one with a bunch of letters...um...the IDK shot (ok, do you get it...I Don't Know shot...). Here are the statistics from today:

Weight: 21 lbs. 9.4 oz. (25th percentile)
Length: 2' 8" or 32" (90th percentile)
Cuteness: Still the 100th percentile

We have no idea where the boy gets his skinny lanky build from...
Side Note: One year ago today was Leo's original due date (07-07-07). If he was born that day I was going to try to convince Justin to let me name him "Lucky." Just kidding Mom, relax! :)

The Whole Crew

We took these family pictures after Leo Beo's birthday party. It was super windy & chilly. Not everyone was dressed for the chilly weather, poor Katelynn & Adri! This is the entire crew (I'll let you know every one's names, just in case you've stumbled upon this blog by accident...)

Back Row: Uncle Eric (my brother), Adri (2 weeks younger than Leo), Auntie Jill (my favorite sister-in-law...hee hee, my only!). Middle Row: Uncle Ben (like the rice...), Katelynn (3 weeks older than Leo), G'ma Jan (my mommy), G'pa Randy (my daddy), Justin (um, duh), and Leo Beo (the star of this blog). Front Row: Auntie Jill (my sister), Gavin (will be 3 on July 13) and me. Aren't we a charming group? :)

I don't know if you can tell, but Gavin was super cold in this picture, and scared of the clouds that were moving quickly over the elevator. The "babies" were posing and actually looking. I think this is the ONLY picture we have of the 4 of them looking. It only took about a year...

As Melia said, "What do you expect when you have 4 kids ages 2 and under?' I love how they turned out. I am excited to see the rest!
