It's Beginning to Feel...

No, wait... it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I was laying with Eli to get him to sleep today (who am I kidding, I was sound asleep...). Leo came in so excited at 2 o'clock saying, "It's snowing!!" When Eli and I finally woke up, there was about 2 inches on the ground.

Jus and I decided to bundle up the kids and head outside. Eli was not into the snowpants, the boots or the gloves. As soon as Leo and Daddy were dressed, Eli was feeling a little better.

They loved the snow!

Eli's first "slide" in the snow!

Boys sliding on the driveway.

Love this picture of Leo!

Eli was such a good "helper".

I <3 my boys!

It was about at this time, that Eli decided to take his "glubs" off, and fell onto the driveway. He started crying and wanted to go in. We headed inside, and all he did inside was cry because he wanted to go outside!

Leo and Jessa

Apparently, there wasn't enough snow on the ground. Yes, Justin is scooping the snow into a pile on the lawn.

Leo going down the "speedy" slide.

Jessa taught Leo to go down head first. :)

They had a great time, it was so fun to watch them enjoy playing in the snow!

All I want for Christmas is

Here is the video of the boys practicing what they are going to tell Santa.

And here is why Leo is asking for a new Grinch...

Here Comes Santa Claus...

"Mommy, why will I eat breakfast with Santa? I already ate my breakfast?"

It's that time of year again when Santa makes his annual trip to town for breakfast. If you remember last year, we got a picture. I was so excited that we'd be able to get a picture this year.

We talked about it at home, and I practiced having them tell me what they wanted from Santa. (I'll put this video in a different post.) I thought we were ready to go...

We got to the library, sat by Jaxson, Jayda and Jessa (Leo said he HAD to sit by them. :)) We listened to a story, kind of. Ate doughnuts and drank juice, and waited for the big man to arrive. They had a craft the boys could make today, a cute candy cane ornament. Leo helped make his, and Eli kept trying to eat the beads. Great...

Finally the man in the suit came! We went over to have our picture taken. Leo was such a sport!

He went up and sat on his lap, told him what he wanted (this will also be another post...), said thank you for what he brought him last year.

Then I tried to bring Eli up to the front. The dads were busy doing this...

Being the very patient person that I am...I gave Jus the look, and he knew I needed help. After bribery didn't work, and threatening, I mean stern talking, didn't work, I told Justin that he was going to have to be in the picture. Eli still wasn't so sure he wanted that. Oh well, it's a cute picture even though he isn't a big fan.

After we talked to the Big Guy, they showed a movie. Here the boys look like they are sitting and watching so well! Yeah, the tv is the other way...

Here comes the Christmas season!

First {Home} Basketball Game

Tonight was the first home game for our beloved Lions. Unfortunately, we didn't fair so well. Both the boys and girls teams got beat (badly). The other team started 2 girls over 6'! I felt short when I walked down by the floor! It was great!! Also, the team can boast they have the best player in the state. Yeah, it was a bit ugly.

Even though the score wasn't so great, the boys had a great time! Leo is so in love with basketball and always cheering for the team that is ahead, but last night he stayed true to the purple and gold. I was kinda surprised by his choice, and proud of him!

The boys were so well behaved; we were able to stay for both games! It was so fun. We sat with some friends of ours, and the boys played and watched the game.

Here are the kids who were having so much fun.

Eli, Jayda, Danie, Jaxson and Leo

Cheryl was determined that she would get Eli to like her and go to the concession stand with her. The first attempt was a fail. Coryn came up to see us after her game, and Eli went right to her and wanted to be wherever she was. He loved sitting with the high school kids and seeing Ivy.

When we came home, they went to bed without a fight. I'd love to say they slept well, but I'd be lying. Oh well, they were so well behaved, we plan on going to lots of games this season!

Happy December!

Grandma Jan always gets the grands Christmas jammies. Aren't these two just a sight? Yes, those are presents under the tree.

Eli also has a cute red robe that goes with his pjs. However, he doesn't like it. I can't get Leo to wear it either. Makes me crazy. We have 2 elves that I will have to introduce you to in the coming weeks. The boys are having fun finding them every morning.

**You may have noticed that I had 24 days in my "Thankful" posts and no 23. Well, it is now fixed. (Thank you very much, Megan!)
