Help Me!

Can you say stress?!?!?

I'm sooo sick of Leo being sick. Although, I bet he is more sick of it than I am. I just don't know what to do any more. Ugh! I was having a really bad day yesterday.

I kept thinking why is God punishing me and/or my little Leo Beo? Did He forget about us? Why is this happening?

Ok...hold up...get a little perspective girl. There are many more children out there suffering a lot more than my Leo.

I just needed to get some reassurance, so I decided to go to the place I should have looked sooner: the Bible. Duh, Sara...

Anyway, Justin and I had been talking about how I want an "Aha" moment, but it just hadn't seemed to be happening. To continue on, I decided to read 2 Corithians, and bam...lightening struck 711 S. Adams...

"So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever." 2 Corithinas 4:18.

So for the rest of the day I tried my best to remember those words. He had a better night, kind of. So, next we just have to keep waiting for him to feel better, little by little, bit by bit.

I found this quote and really liked it:

"Our son is here not by chance, but by God's choosing. His hand formed him and made him the person he is. He compares him to no one else. He is one of a kind. He will lack nothing that his grace can't give him. He has allowed him to be here at this time in history to fulfill his special purpose for this generation.

Here are some pictures of the cutie!

L-I-O-N-S...

I know this is a blog for my Leo Beo, but this is important to him. On Monday, I accepted a job at Central Lyon. I will be teaching TK four days a week, and will be home with Leo on Fridays. I'm so excited! It will be hard to leave GLR, but it is the best move for our family. I will miss my friends and the kids, too!

Watch Out...Here Comes Leo!

Guess who learned to crawl this week? You betcha...Justin...Ok, just kidding. It's Leo. :) He went back to daycare on Tuesday and was "the only one" who wasn't crawling. Before I left I told him his job for the day was to learn to crawl. When I came to get him, Julie (one of his room teachers) said watch what he can do. And then he crawled right to me! He has had a busy week... he learned to crawl, pull himself to stand, eat crackers & toast, and drink juice. Mind you, all of these things were at daycare, but we are ok with that! He must not want his friends to show him up!

Family Pictures

We had a family gathering "up north" with my entire family on Saturday. All 4 grandkids were there and were doing great! Here are a few shots of G'pa & G'ma with the babes & the entire clan.

Tubes? What? I had surgery today?

"What?" Leo says... "I had surgery? I sure don't feel like it." It was amazing how short of a time he was gone from us, but yes, he did get tubes on April 10th. He's doing great!
